We launched Happy Box Store LLC with one mission:

To create "the modern day gift basket," easy way to gift fun, custom, unique care packages for all kinds of occasions with a few clicks. We believe we're at the intersection of personalization & convenience, and it feels just right.

It all started when Hannah & Ariel (sisters/co-founders) lived states apart in college. Ariel had been going through a break up and Hannah ran all over town to put together the perfect care package of candy, tissues, a voodoo doll, her fave movie and more. It made Ariel smile: it was like a long-distance hug.

Hannah looked online to see if there was an easy way to build a care package, and there simply was not. Everything was overpriced or antiquated. So she pitched the idea to Ariel and Happy Box Store was born, with curated care packages that quickly evolved to build-a-custom care package and gifting concierge platform.
